Account deletion

Delete your Word Route account.

You can delete your account inside Word Route or request deletion without access to the app. Deleting Word Route does not delete your Google account.

Purchases and unused Assist Tokens

Deleting a Word Route account forfeits its remaining purchased tokens, enabled assists and account-bound purchase benefits. It does not automatically refund a purchase or transfer it to another Word Route account. Request any purchase refund through Google Play and review the result before deciding to delete the account.

Delete in the app

  1. Sign in to the Word Route account you want to delete.
  2. Open the account center and choose Delete account.
  3. Review the warning, enter DELETE, and continue.
  4. Reauthenticate with the account's password or its authorized Google account.
  5. Confirm deletion.

The app signs you out and removes that account's local Word Route profile after the remote account is deleted. If local cleanup is interrupted, it resumes without signing the deleted account back in. To do that safely, the app temporarily stores the account ID, cleanup state, and a random deletion receipt in app-private device storage. This local receipt is not sent to our server. The app removes the local deletion journal when account deletion and local cleanup are confirmed. Firebase account deletion also triggers removal of that account's purchase summary. Do not send the local receipt to support.

Request deletion without the app

Email support@gandkstudiosllc.com with the subject Delete my Word Route account. Send the request from the email address associated with the account when possible and state whether you normally sign in with Google or email/password. Do not send a password, Google credential, Firebase token, deletion receipt, payment information, or advertising identifier.

We will reply with the minimum steps needed to verify that you control the account. We expect to complete a verified request within 30 days and will confirm when it is complete or explain if law requires a different timeline.

Data deleted

A completed Word Route account deletion removes:

  • the Firebase Authentication account used by Word Route;
  • the Word Route profile derived from that account;
  • the owner-readable purchased-token and interstitial-removal summary;
  • the account's saved level progress, including enabled assists and Shuffle assignments;
  • the account profile and active local save metadata; and
  • that account's Word Route data and purchase cache on the device that completes in-app deletion.

An off-app request cannot erase data that remains only on a device we cannot access. Clear Word Route's Android app storage or uninstall the app to remove that local copy.

Limited data retained or outside Word Route control

Word Route retains minimal pseudonymous purchase receipts while the related products remain supported for verification or restoration. They contain a one-way purchase-token hash, pseudonymous account reference, product ID, credited token quantity, grant time, and finalization status. They contain no raw account ID, raw purchase token, email, payment details, or gameplay progress. These references are not anonymous.

These receipts prevent an old purchase from granting tokens again or transferring to a different Word Route account after deletion. The account's purchase summary is deleted; the minimal replay receipts remain. No server deletion-receipt journal or separate advertising reward receipts are created by the current service.

Minimal token-spend receipts also remain while token spending is supported. They contain a one-way operation key, pseudonymous account reference, one-way request hash, zero-or-one token charge, and completion time. They contain no raw account ID, level details, words, or board contents. These receipts prevent a repeated interrupted operation from charging twice; they cannot restore a deleted account or its tokens.

Deleting your Word Route account does not delete Google's purchase records or your Google account. Google retains authentication, purchase, security, and platform diagnostic, advertising, and consent records under its own policies. You can review advertising choices through the app's Privacy and cookie settings when available, and reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. We may retain deletion-request correspondence to complete or document the request, protect the service, or comply with law. See the privacy policy for the data we retain.
