Privacy at a glance

Data stored on your device
Word Route stores game state locally so the game can restore your progress. This can include completed levels, best results, stars, unlocked sectors, current level state, ad-attempt cadence, assist rewards, and the Route Facts or Blackout assists enabled for a level. Shuffle is tracked as a separate one-use assist.
This local game data is not synced to a Word Route account or G&K Studios LLC server. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes it, subject to Android's own backup and restore settings.
Your word guesses
Word Route evaluates typed words on the device. G&K Studios LLC does not transmit, collect, log, or store your raw, normalized, hashed, encoded, or otherwise guess-revealing word identifiers for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or support. A word may remain in local game state when needed to restore the route you are playing, but it is not sent to G&K Studios LLC.
Ads and rewarded assists
Word Route uses Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to show an interstitial ad after every five eligible campaign attempts and to offer rewarded ads for assists. Completing a rewarded ad grants one local Assist Token, which is immediately spent on the selected Route Facts, Blackout, or Shuffle assist. G&K Studios LLC does not receive the word you typed as part of an ad request.
Depending on the ad request, device or app settings, region, and applicable privacy choices, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share IP address or approximate location, app and ad interactions such as launches, taps, and video views, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. Google describes these practices in its Google Play data disclosure for the Mobile Ads SDK and Google Privacy Policy.
Word Route does not currently package a third-party ad-mediation SDK. If advertising partners or data practices change, this policy will be updated before that change is released.
Your privacy choices
Word Route uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and remember applicable advertising privacy choices. Ads are not requested unless the consent platform reports that an ad request is permitted. Where required, the app presents a privacy message at launch and provides a Privacy and cookie settings control so you can revisit available choices.
Applicable U.S. users can use the in-app privacy message to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as those terms are defined by relevant state law. Android also provides controls to reset or delete the device advertising ID.
Retention and deletion
Local Word Route data remains on the device until it is replaced through play, cleared through Android app settings, or removed by uninstalling the app, subject to Android backup and restore settings. Because Word Route has no account or developer-operated cloud save, there is no Word Route account record to delete from G&K Studios LLC.
Google and participating advertising partners retain advertising and consent data according to their own policies, legal duties, security needs, and fraud-prevention practices. Contact us if you need help identifying the controls available for your installation.
Security
Word Route limits developer-controlled game data to local device storage. Network traffic used for privacy messaging and advertising is protected in transit by the service providers' transport security. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the app is designed to avoid sending game guesses or progress to G&K Studios LLC.
Children
Word Route is a general-audience game and is not designed or marketed as a child-directed service for children under 13. G&K Studios LLC does not knowingly collect account data from children through Word Route because the app has no account or developer-operated data collection service. If you believe information from a child was provided to us through a support request, contact support@gandkstudiosllc.com.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when Word Route's data practices or service providers materially change. The latest version and its effective date will remain available at this URL.
